Let’s learn kanji on Japonophile.com!
When you visit Japonophile.com, at the bottom of each page you view is displayed a kanji randomly chosen among all kanji of a given level (the 1945 most common kanji, jôyô kanji, are classified by difficulty into nine levels by Monbushô, the Japanese Government of Education and Culture).
For each kanji are displayed the prononciation (kun-reading in hiragana, on-reading in katakana), and the english translation.
You can select the level that suits you by using the ‘easier’ and ‘harder’ links, and the difficulty level you choose will be remembered until your next visit.
Enjoy!
